• Answers incoming calls on all company lines. Routes all calls.
• Accepts transfer calls from employees direct line. 
• Takes messages, locates person to assist caller, or redirects call to person's voice mail.
• Greets and refers visitors, clients and consumers to the appropriate person
• Prints, stuffs and routes outgoing mail
• Handles all mail return functions
• Data Entry

Experience:
This is an entry level position within the company. Prior office experience including handling large volumes of incoming calls is strongly preferred. Data entry experience in a high volume environment is highly desirable.

Special Considerations:
Some evening and Saturday work may be required. Bilingual English, Spanish is desirable.

Position: Telephone Collector

Position Summary: Responsible for collecting past due bills. Works on a salary basis plus commission and benefits.

Position Reports to: Operations Supervisor

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Follows F.D.C.P.A. Fair Debt Collections Practices Act
• Works assigned collector Queue of  bad debt
• Majority of time spent on telephone as contact must be made
• Asks for payment of past due accounts
• Resolves collection problems with consumers
• Makes suggestions to consumer of how to clear debt
• Sets up appropriate payment arrangements, when necessary
• Determines appropriate collection procedures on all assigned accounts including requesting suit and garnishment procedures
• Monitors accounts.
• Performs collection function within established State, Federal and company guidelines

Experience:
While prior collection experience is not required, it is extremely beneficial to have work experience dealing with the public in a customer service capacity. Prior experience doing work via the telephone is helpful.

Special Consideration:
Must be able to work an occasional Saturday and /or one evening per week
